Chennai based Education and Placement Company EdServ through its Vidhyadhana Academy has signed an Educational Partnership MOU with Veer Savarkar Netaji Matriculation School, the first non-aided private school in the city. This school was started in 1970 with the objective of providing education to the underprivileged and the deprived. The School has a current strength of about 700 students.
The MOU was signed by S. Giridharan, Chairman and CEO, EdServ and V. Mohan, Correspondent and Head, Veer Savarkar Netaji Matriculation School.
As part of this MOU, Vidhyadhana Academy will implement Learning Management Systems, School & Student Management Systems and Fun filled learning Systems through Gaming Solutions to achieve higher standards of student learning and performance. Leading Educationists will govern the Academy to monitor the progress of the Vidhyadhana Academy.
Vidhyadhana Academy will invest in technology providing well equipped Labs, LCD TVs in each class-room, administrative and student management software making these schools hi-tech. In addition, EdServ would also invest in infrastructural improvement of the school by building additional classrooms in order to accommodate the expandable capacity year on year.
Commenting on the benefits to the School, Giridharan, Chairman and CEO, EdServ said, Vidhyadhana encompasses fun-filled learning for primary education, improving the academic performance of students as they move from primary to higher secondary, imparting the students with career orientation apart from improving the teachers training skills and the overall quality of schools with better infrastructure and management.
Teacher Focus Enhancement
Through a Teacher Focus Enhancement initiative, Vidhyadhana Academy will provide the teachers with feedback of every completed session and the gaps in learning of every student to make the next session more productive and with the intent of focusing more individually as against the normal generic session. This will be followed by a fun-filled real life instances led Assessment of the students so as to help create an interest in them for even those dry and tough subjects easily.
New Automated Learning Aids
Vidhyadhana Academy will also introduce Automated Learning and Assessment methods, that will ensure that the students learning curve is tracked and analysed for improved learning and performance as they move into higher classes.
