EdServ Strikes eTraining Partnership with Canadian Company
- Becomes India’s First Authorized Online Training Partner of COREL Corp., for global market

In a significant training initiative through e-learning, Chennai based Education and Placement Services company EdServ has announced that it has struck a Global e-Training Partnership with Ottawa, Canada headquartered COREL Corporation, a global leader in graphics and productivity software with over 100 million active users in 75 countries, where by the company has become an Authorized Online Training Partner of Corel with rights to train and certify students on the Corel Technology, Graphics Design, and Desktop Publishing.
EdServ is the first and only Authorised Online Training Partner of Corel in India. The company is targeting to train around 200,000 students worldwide in the next 18 months targeting Institutions, Corporate, and Students / Job seekers. EdServ shall make exclusive e-content for various tools of COREL, which shall be branded as the authorized e-content, for becoming a certified professional by COREL worldwide.
EdServ plans to strengthen lampsglow.com offering further with this authentic certified multimedia e-content. EdServ currently provides e-learning, online tutoring, and exam support for school and college students, School in-campus education support, and Employable Skills Training for the downtrodden. EdServ is present in over 100 schools and has trained over 80,000 students in various courses and tutoring, providing academic support.

Under this partnership, students of EdServ will be eligible to appear for an online test and receive direct Corel Certification. EdServ shall also venture global marketing with COREL certification and address Corporate and Institution needs to generate qualified COREL designers and Multimedia specialists. EdServ will also acquire original software licenses of Corel Corporation through this partnership.
EdServ, which also offers skill matched direct job fitments using its online jobs engine EdCampus as part of lampsglow.com, will make the students more suitable for job placement through this training and certification programme.
EdServ ended Q1FY11 with revenues of Rs.21.48crore and Net Profit of Rs.6.89cr.
