EdServ Forays into Mobile Space with its Learning services
Launches HUMTHUM, a mobile Knowledge Media in Samsung Java AppStore

In a first of its kind offering in the Indian market, Chennai based Education Services Company EdServ has announced that the company has forayed into the mobile application space with its wide range of Educational contents that includes tuition, Academics, Skill Development, and test prep services.
As a first step in this foray, EdServ has launched HumThum.com, a unique mobile based Knowledge apps that can be accessed anywhere anytime from the mobile smart phone. In the pilot phase of the roll out, over 50,000 students have already accessed HumThums mobile apps. The company is targeting a user base of 1Crore in the next 18-24 months.
The company is targeting revenues of Rs. 200cr over the next 3years from this foray.
EdServs educational content and tuition services that have been previously available on its learning portal www.lampsglow.com will be available now across all Samsung smart phones in their Java Apps Stores in India. Further, HumThum application has a PDF converter that will change the Samsung smart phone to a mobile scanner or a photocopier. HumThum apps has a Talking Dictionary that will provide pronunciation and meaning of any English word. Humthum also helps users to design, host and update their own personal or business website from the mobile phone.

Humthum.com (ht.im) facilitates instant area specific knowledge sharing through mobile, covering over 20,000 pin codes in India. Developed in-house at EdServ, HumThum.com (ht.im) provides Educational Support Services that includes doubt clearing, tutor search and assessments, Career Services and Local Area based Services across these 20,000 pin codes.
